Rafael has over 13 years’ experience managing external investor relations and corporate communications programs for publicly traded and debt issuing companies in Latin America.

Prior to joining InspIR, Rafael served as Senior Vice President at i-advize Corporate Communications, a New York-based IR firm focused on the Latin America market. He was responsible for managing investor relations programs primarily for Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru- based clients in a variety of industries. In addition, he supported clients’ day-to-day activities, working closely with senior management to design and develop effective investor relations programs, best practice IR coaching and training, as well as coordinating and executing investor events.

Prior to i-advize, Rafael was a New York-based Recruitment Specialist for individuals seeking roles in the Latin American Finance industry. In his native Peru, his experience included business development, client management and operations; notably for the largest telecommunications holding company in the region.

Rafael holds a Licentiate degree in International Business from the Universidad Internacional de las Americas, in San Jose, Costa Rica, and a Master’s degree in Investor Relations from Fordham University in New York. He is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
