She specializes in cultivating meaningful engagement between issuers and investors, leveraging her deep understanding of market dynamics, long-standing relationships and her ability to break into new markets and build mutual trust. In senior roles at Scotiabank Canada/NY and Santander in Brazil, Mirella played a key role in guiding institutional investors toward informed investment decisions and enabling corporate issuers to diversify their shareholder base through strategic access to high-quality investors.
Mirella’s leadership in organizing numerous corporate roadshows with C-suite executives and spearheading corporate access events has consistently led to profitable investment outcomes. Her ability to connect C-suite executives with key investors has been instrumental in raising approximately USD 10 billion through IPOs and follow-on transactions. Her expertise lies in not just facilitating investments but in creating enduring partnerships that benefit both issuers and investors alike.
Mirella holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business in Toronto, an Executive MBA from Insper in São Paulo, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Unicamp in Campinas. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
